PuraOre!~ (2 stars)

There aren't a lot of ice hockey animes out there. PuraOre!~ is one of the few there are, so I'll try not to complain too much but as an ice hockey fan myself it might be tough. One of my gripes is the writing, it's really weird and feels kind of awkward. The show also is not very accurate at all to ice hockey, I mean.. they're doing idol dances on the rink?? and the coach isn't at all focused on teaching them hockey but rather "Having a rink full of her fans while she does an idol song and dance" and the warmups they do in epsiode one are referred to as dance routines and are nothing like warmups. It's a fun anime if you don't watch ice hockey, but it's not very good unless that's what you're going for.
